Welcome to ERASMUS+ EHEAII project – Empowering Higher Education through Artificial Intelligence Integration.
This international initiative brings together six universities from Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Slovenia to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be responsibly and effectively integrated into higher education. The project supports institutions in strengthening digital readiness, developing ethical frameworks, and empowering educators to use AI tools that enhance teaching, learning, and management processes.
On this webpage, you will find the latest project news, research outcomes, and practical resources – including guidelines, best practice examples, teaching materials, and training opportunities. It serves as a hub for educators, researchers, and decision-makers seeking knowledge and inspiration on how to make AI a meaningful and human-centered part of higher education.
The project started in September 2025 and will continue until the end of August 2028. Currently, the partners are conducting extensive research on available documents, literature, guidelines, and recommendations regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence in higher education, as well as analysing national regulations and international standards. In the coming months, a survey and a series of roundtable interviews with experts will be carried out in all six partner countries. The first results of this extensive research are expected to be available by March 2026.
